I've read tons of consumer reviews and I'm just curious what all of you think is the best infant car seat out there. Safest, Easiest to manage and easy on the wallet!

I’ve owned a Evenflo and a Graco. And the Graco was a lot better, and seems to be the most popular. They come in so many colors and features and price ranges. I suggest going to a baby store and looking at the different models then decide which features are important to you. The features I can’t live with out is the adjustable sunshade, and the strap adjuster in the front instead of the back. Also look at how easy it is to get the baby in the straps and also how to get the seat on and off the base, since those are things you do a lot.

graco car seats…they are the safest.. tho not always the cheapest

Try consumer reports, they give you all that info on almost every seat and tell you what they found as the best deal, and they don’t get endorsements from any companies so you can be sure that their research is honest. Myself, I tend to like Graco.

The safest is Britax, although it is quite pricey…Graco also has a very safe seat for much less $.

i got mine at walmart and it saved my daughter’s life. it looks like a bowl, sort of and it is only $50. i believe it is an evenflo and i highly recommend it.

BRITAX, not easy on the wallet, but it’ll last through 10 kids, its the only seat tested up to 75 mph, most others are only tested to 35mph. I LOVE my britax, wouldn’t have any other seat.

I had Graco & hated it… we ended up buying the chico for infant Great seat & the Evenflo Triumph for the convertable seat, which is the easiest car seat I have ever used A+

The Britax is the safest car seat but is the most expensive. Try the Grace safe seat not the Snugride but the Snugride easily goes from base to stroller adn is universally compatible with some other products. Go to consumer reports.com and babiesrus .com to check the reviews.

i think mine was great and easy for a new born its a "Safe and Sound Re-tractor", with the shoulder straps all you have to do is press a button and it re-track’s in and out rather then having to pull it yourself, so for when you have your newborn in it and have trouble getting his or her little arms in all you have to do is press the button to make the straps longer then plug it in and press it again and it re-tracks back into the safest lengths for your child, its also converts to toddler mode and that had 3 recliner positions, good luck finding the right one for you as that’s just my opinion.
