Can my 5yr old sit in the front seat with a booster(uk)?
Hi, im just wondering if its ok for my 5 year old, shes nearly 6 and is very tall, to sit in the front passanger seat with a booster seat and seatbelt on.
Im due to have another baby so the baby will be in the back in a baby car seat and my toddler will be at the other side in an infant car seat.
It will be a tight squeeze to fit the booster seat and daughter in the middle of them... or would i be better putting the baby in the front?
I have a new style Astra(4 years old model), i dont think you can switch the air bags off...
UK question as the law is different over here, thanks

I think the law is that a child must be 8 years old to sit in the front in the UK. I think you’ll be okay with the kids in the back seat. It may be a squeeze but it’s better than having her in the front.
I’m not from the UK, but I would never ever ever put a 5-6 year old in the front seat with a booster seat no matter what. I don’t care if it was ultra squishy in the back seat! I just wouldn’t do it and recommend you not, especially if the airbags can’t be turned off in the front passenger seat!
It’s illegal.
And it’s illegal because it’s dangerous.
