Coloring/snack/activity table for rear facing infant to toddler seat?
I am going to purchase 2 Evenflo Triumph Advance DLX car seats for my twins this weekend, but they will rear face in them until the maximum weight, 35 lbs.
I thought since it is kind of boring facing that way (but they won't know better until they are 36 pounds anyway), it would be fun to get a coloring table that would fit on it.
Are there any tables that you know of, or would recommend?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I have ordered so much stuff from them and it is all wonderful.
I would recommend to look for on the website is:
1. Grow With Me Travel Toy – order #13602 – $29.95
2. Tint Love Wonder Wheel – order #12438 – $29.95
3. Sonic Driver – order # 13822 – $19.95
4. Go Anywhere Table and Footrest – order #12320 – $49.95
5. Car and Stroller Snack Tray – order # 13312 – $19.95
There are a ton of things on the website, i just pulled those out of the catalog that i was skimming through!
Good Luck!!!!! Have fun!!!
Someone gave me one that has a bit that hooks over the window. It sucks. It is really scary.
So umm at least you know that one isn’t nice.
We have that carseat and really like it. I have tried to find something like that for mine. I can only tell you to stay away from the fisherprice carseat/laptray with the cushion bottom. It comes up way to high on the child making it impossible for use and won’t secure to this carseat.
Try looking at onestepahead.com they have trays for forward facing carseats.
When my daughter was rear facing we had a mirror with lights and music that attacted to backseat’s head rest. It had a remote that came with it that looked like a garage opener. It was nice because I could see her face easily while driving and could activate the lights and sounds when she got cranky.
By the time they are interested in activities, they’ll be in front-facing seats.
If you want to provide something for them to look at, try the mobiles that hang over the seats. Consider what might make it difficult to get the seats in and out of the car, or get sleeping infants in and out of the seats themselves.
Some babies are overwhelmed by too much visual input, so keep the number of toys to a minimum. After they are facing front and sitting more upright, add toys that can be attached to the seat (I used pacifier clips for toy keys and rattles).
Even when they are toddlers, things like crayons would easily roll or fall off the tray — getting lost and more likely causing a tantrum.
Really, babies get so much stimulation, you don’t need to worry about them having ‘enough’ to do. I can remember mine being entranced by the shadows from tree leaves, and leaving the expensive toys on the floor.
You may find that you will not keep them facing backwards up to 35 pounds. When Noah reached 20 pounds I had to turn him around, he was just too long! So, you may look for something that faces the other direction also.
Some great suggestions already.
But, just something to be aware of safety-wise, is that anything you give your child to play with in the car that isn’t securely strapped or clipped down, during an accident, becomes a flying projectile. Free floating trays and hard toys are dangerous for the car as they are traveling at 50mph. Try to stick to paperback books, plastic snack cups, soft stuffed or cloth toys, mirrors or activity board that fasten securely to the backrest they are facing.
Just an FYI
Great job keeping them RF!!!! My 3 year old is still riding RF!
Nothing should be added to a carseat that didn’t come in the box. It can be come a projectile in an accident or sudden stop. Here’s a good test to try: throw the object that you want to add to the seat or keep in the car, at your head and see if it hurts. It will fly much faster in an accident.
