Fitting 3 Carseats in a Chrysler 300M?
Okay I know the Radian80 and Radian65 is the BEST and will def fit but I have twins (2-years old) and one on the way due july 2010. No I cant not afford a new car We (me and DH) are both full time students so we have to save as much as possible is there. So we need 2-carseats for toddlers and an infant seat. Is there any CHEAPER carseats out there that we can buy other than those?! I was looking at the Evenflo and it looked good only ...I am willing to pay 100 for a carseat and yes if we have to i will pay the 230 for the Radian ones but I do NOT want to that is to much!

I want something SAFE and that may have extended harnessing my 2 year olds are still rear facing and we will turn them around when this one is born.

All car seats are SAFE, the higher prices you pay, are just for cosmetic purposes. They all serve the same purposes, and no car seat is considered more safe than another, unless it has been on a list that requires it to be taken back. (Name escapes me right now).

There are PLENTY of cheaper options, and it’s all just trial an error as to what will fit in your car.
The Evenflo one would be fine. The only real danger with buying cheaper car seats is if they are second hand, and have been in some sort of accident. But buying a brand new car seat for 59 dollars is prefectly fine.

There is no BEST car seat in terms of safety, the higher prices tags are usually the ‘prettier’ car seats, not the safest.

Go to Babies R US (if there is one in your town) they will let you try seats out in your car. Good luck getting everything to fit. Also, contact Safe Kids USA to find a certified car seat tech. They will also be able to help you figure out which seats would be easiest to puzzle together in your car.

Good job rear facing longer! The AAP recommends rear facing to 2 years and 30 pounds instead of the old outdated 1 year and 20 pounds.

why are your two year olds still rear facing? im guessing they are small? anyways evenflo is a good safe brand, if you want to save some money i would go with that one. just because the car seat is more expensive doesnt mean it is safer, do some research online on safe car seats…
