HELP need some idea's on how to better organize my toddlers closet?
My son has ton's and ton's of clothes and I am starting to run out of room to store all of his things. The clothes are taking up most of the room though. This question contains a few questions
1. Where can I find those neat vacume sealed bags that you can put up to 50 pieces of clothes in and it shrinks it down into a small easy to store bag? And what the heck is it called lol
2. What is a good closet organizer for the clothes he already has, I went a little nuts with buying clothes for him
3. What is the best way to store delicate items such as infant swings, bouncy chairs, bassinets, and car seats so that they don't get dirty or gross.
We don't want to throw any of this stuff out or give it away as we are wanting to have more kids and it just wouldn't make since to give all of this stuff away only to have to buy more
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT THANKS
ALSO when you buy the space bags does it come with the special vacume that is needed to seal these bags properly or how does that work I am new to using these

I put clothes in storage that are the next size up. I keep my sons clothes org by type – shirts/pants/overalls/shirts/sweaters/jackets
I have a rolling organizer with drawers and I put his underwears and hats and socks in one drawer….
get plastic boxes from the dollar store and put them where your child cant reach so you can control a little of whats going on in the closet.
The bags are called Spacebags. There is a website called spacebags.com and they can be purchased at various stores too.
Those bags can be found anywhere, Walmart, Kmart, Bed Bath and Beyond. I know they have it for sure.
Try using storage containers, and taking it out of his closet and putting it somewhere else (garage, shed, attic, laundry room) or just put it on his closet floor. Try under the bed continers too. I recently saw these new things that are hangers but they hang down. I dont know the name, but just look for any type of hanger product that reduces space by allowing you to hang more than one item in an area. Hope this helps. We have the same situation, only with toys!!
Hi, there. Ya’ know, if you have so many tons of clothes, why don’t you just put some of them up completely and rotate them? Or save some for your upcoming babies, so they can have some new things, too!
Organizing bins are great, indeed, but sometimes I found myself "organizing" for the sheer joy of "organizing", while I missed precious moments of my only son’s learning and growing! (I am put in mind of the few times I actually sorted ALL the LEGO pieces by size, shape and color, into li’l drawers meant for a carpenter’s shop, for screws, nails, etc.!! LOL)
If I had it to do over, I do believe I would gather up "outfits", after laundry, and package or pin them together, so that I could just grab and go (no matching tops & bottoms, no looking for matching socks or sandals). And I would have kept an entirely separate baby bag, completely stocked and stored near the door, ALSO ready to grab and go!
The big items you asked about storing — try wrapping in Visqueen plastic sheeting, and taping with the duct tape we no longer need for Homeland Security! <smirk> You could then place them in the attic, etc., without fear of contamination. You could even suspend some if not all of those things from a garage ceiling or wall, especially if somehow protectively covered.
Finally, if you’ve got that many clothes, you’ve also probably got tons of toys. Consider rotating those, as well; you would be amazed how only a few weeks or a month can render an "old" toy truly "OutOfSight, OutOfMind", for your little one(s).
Good luck, and remember to stop each day for just a moment, at least, and revel in the profound miracle in which you participate. They will be up and gone, it is SO true, in LESS than the blink of an eye. And, if you don’t get some of those things put up because you are playing with your baby? It is more than alright; it is almost always awesome!
P.S. — No one mentioned it, but any ole vacuum cleaner hose thingee that sucks in will work for those vacuum bag things, k?
