Is my volvoC30 an safe car for me & my soon to be here infant son?

It was a gift from my uncle. And I really love this car. Though I haven't drove it myself yet. Anyway I am 42 weeks so the doctors is gonna induce me, and just wondering, since I don't want to give the car up( my dream car), is it a good car to put a car seat and newborn-toddler in. Someday I will get an s.u.v when I will get married and such. but just wondering. If the car isn't a safe car for my son then I will not use it :[.
Here's a picture of what a volvo c30 looks like( since I haven't took a pic of my car yet)

I really need to know for the safety of my son and it's an awesome car. And how many times in my life will I get the chance to own a 2009 european volvo c30. so please answer !

There is no other make of car that is consistently safer than a Volvo.
Having said that, I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t want to put a car seat in it. Since it’s a coupe (two-door), maneuvering the car seat and the baby from out of the back seat might get annoying.
It is a great car to drive, and, like I said, super safe. But really, the decision boils down to your preference on dealing with the two-door situation. Congrats on the baby, btw!

volvo are one of the safest makes of car you can buy, it has a 5 star NCAP rating which is the best you can get. so i would say yes it is. i have put a link to show how good volvos are, if you use the same website you should be able to find a more suitable car (safety wise) on there. :)
