Sippy cup vs. straw cup?
What is the difference? Is their an advantage to the either?
Right now my working with my son and a Nuby sippy cup. He doesn't it, he doesn't love it. He just seems a bit confused....but is drinking from it for a few minutes each day.
I saw Nuby straw cups with a valve...but I don't know much about them.
Let me know your opinion on either?
*******The only thing I heard from a speech therapist about sippy cups is they *can* cause a speech impediment. Thought that was ood, so I googled it and found reputable sources saying the same...I'll provide a link to one if you're interested.

The Speech impediment thing doesn't concern me so much (or to a lesser degree than say food or car seat safety)...
...as with parenting now I really feel like have to pick and choose the dangers/concerns/issues/warnings etc...with things and consider their overall importance....if I didn't I'd go insane...there is so sort of warning/danger about virtually everything - walkers, jumpers, bottles, shampoo, lotion, baby food, what's used to make some baby toys, household cleaners, what's in the air your breathes...etc.
