Tips for getting baby to like car seat?

My 4 month er recently began hating car rides...he will cry the whole time...especially if no one is back there with him. Any tricks to getting him to ride better?
Thanks!

You can try carseat toys, and if that doesn’t work, and you can’t handle the crying, try switching carseats. If he’s in a carrier carseat, try a convertible one and vice-versa. I’m am NOT recommending putting him in a forward facing seat. He is much too young. Only try a new seat as a last resort, it’s expensive and may not work.

My first-born hated her infant carseat too. It didn’t get better until she moved up to a forward facing toddler chair.

    Good luck.

Is the car seat getting to little for him that was the problem with my son so we got him a regular car seat instead of the carrier and that helped tons

does he have toys with him- you could maybe give him a soft teddy to cuddle or a favourite balnket or something with your scent on for him which makes him feel like his close to you which will be soothing for him or evern those mobiles( the dangly toy things) thst you can attatch to prams and carseats, also does he take dummies? i hope this helps :)

They make toys that attach to car seats.Maybe let him hold onto his favorite toy on car rides or have one that he only can have during car rides.Maybe some music that he would like.I hope something in here helps.I am wondering this too for when I have my baby :)
