What car/suv can hold 3 carseats comfortably?
I'm expecting baby # 3 and need a bigger car/suv. I hope to have 4x4 because winters here are bad, but its not a requirement. The max amount I can spend would be about ,000 so it would be a used car. It would have to hold 1 convertible/toddler seat, 1 booster seat, and 1 infant car seat. (My kids are ages 4, 13 months, and expecting) I current have the following car seats:
Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat - Halee -
Graco Turbo Booster - Tara -
I dont have baby # 3 carseat, but it will probably be Graco too.
****Also need room to fit in a stroller ****
I found an Ford Expedition on Craigslist I'm going to go take a look at. It has third row seating which I never thought about before. My only concern is will it fit a triple stroller? I may just by a twin stroller since my oldest is 4 and really doesnt rid much but days to the zoo a triplet one would be nice.... oh!

I live in Michigan, and we are required to have booster seats up through age 8. I had a Dodge Intrepid…one of the largest "hip room" cars on the market….wonderful car which fit a convertable, infant and booster no problem….rides like a dream too, btw…even in snow. But…..once I had to put two boosters and a converatable seat in, I ran into problems because there was not enough room for my children to buckle themselves. It was too tight and hands (theirs and mine) were being pinched, so we had to get a car w/ a third row. So, please keep in mind that even though it will fit the combo you have now, make sure that it will also fit the two boosters if you need to.
We just had our forth and had to upgrade to a van, you can buy a Mitsubishi Delica if you need the 4WD, or our Toyota Lucida Estima is full time 4WD if you can get them over there, they only take large car tyres rather than 4WD tyres.
I have a buick terazza and it is great. Vans are nice because most have electric opening doors now so they open and shut with a push of a button and they open up wide so it is easy to get the kids in and out. I only have one child, but I do have two nephews that I drive around occasionally and there is enough room for everyone comfortably plus their things. Also many vans have a dvd player built in so there is something to occupy the little ones on long car trips. Test drive many different types of vehicles to see which one will fit with your family the best. All of the vans I have had got though the snow well.
