What's a good infant car seat for a mustang?
My husband and I are expecting in December and I don't want to have to trade him cars. (he drives a honda civic) I need an infant car seat that fits in the back seat of a mustang withouth having to make adjustments to the front passenger seat (for exampl drive with the seat folded over, or pushed forward).
thanks for your help!

I have 4 mustangs and there is not a rear facing car seat that will work. We tried several, but did not find one that would work in any of the stangs. You are going to have to use the civic if you wanna take the baby out. When the baby can switch to a forward facing car seat, then you can use just about any car seat in the mustang.
Lucky for me we have a truck and a van. The stangs had to sit till little bit got bigger.
Go to your local retailer and they will try different seats for you or check websites.
I know Britax have a good site where u can type in your make of car and they reccomend what seats fit.
Also, don’t comprimise on safety for the sake of your car.
The back seat is so small that even if you get a car seat for the time being, the second you turn the seat forward facing the car will be too small and the child will have no where for their legs.
Put "it" in the trunk!!!
The best thing for your baby would be for you to go trade in the car. Sorry but now you are going to be a mom you need to put your baby first. I didn’t want to trade my car in for a 4 door car but it was the best thing for my baby. So grow up and start acting like a mom.
I agree with Little Bit!!!!!!
I agree with the others I don’t think there is s seat that will fit wothout adjustments to the seat..If you make it fit it won’t be inthe car properly nor will it be safe for baby..trade cars and deal with it..Baby comes first now. and I don’t believe there is a convertible seat that will fit either..
A mustang is far from a family vehicle. You may like the car; however, it’s just not practical with an infant. Trade it in for a four door family vehicle so your child can be safe and roomy in the backseat!
